The chapter
In the final period of Baba’s life, Jyotindra noticed that Baba was tired while the Petromax lamps were being placed in Dwarkamai. He offered to press Baba’s legs, and Baba told him that this would be their last meeting.
Baba invited him to ask for anything. Jyotindra did not ask for wealth, health, or worldly success; he asked only that Baba’s blessings remain with him and that he might see Baba’s feet in every birth.
Baba said such a wish would bind Him in a way He could not promise, but assured Jyotindra that they would meet again in another birth. He then gave him Udi and told him to preserve it carefully.
