The chapter
This chapter gathers experiences from the Tarkhad family’s many visits to Shirdi that are not included in the earlier Sai Satcharitra episodes.
It remembers Nanavali, an eccentric and deeply devoted figure whose playful conduct often disturbed people, yet whose bond with Baba was intimate. On one occasion Nanavali asked to sit on Baba’s seat; Baba rose and allowed him to do so, revealing the affection between them.
The chapter also recounts further moments of Baba’s knowledge, protection, and healing, including a visit to the family in Mumbai during an illness. These memories are presented as signs that Baba’s care was not limited by distance.
