The chapter
When Shama suffered severe pain, Baba prepared a decoction from sonamukhi leaves and gave it to him. Years later Shama tried the same remedy without Baba’s guidance and became worse; Baba then blessed him and the pain subsided.
Dasganu wished to render Jnaneshwar Maharaj’s difficult spiritual teaching in a form ordinary people could understand. After he placed his wish before Baba, he completed the work with a talent that even a learned scholar recognized as extraordinary.
A headmaster transferred to Shirdi worried that Baba’s encouragement of students would make them careless about study. When the examinations came, all the students passed with good results, changing his opinion.
Together, these accounts describe grace working through medicine, learning, and education while reminding the devotee that the blessing cannot be separated from the Guru’s living guidance.
