The chapter
Jyotindra’s mother longed to visit Pandharpur and worship Lord Vithoba. Baba first reminded her that Shirdi was their everything, but then assured her that her sincere wish would be fulfilled.
At the temple, a priest would not allow her to place the garland on the deity herself. She prayed, and the account says that the Vithoba murti moved down from its platform, allowing her to complete the offering before returning to its place.
The astonished priest learned that they were devotees of Sai Baba and was reminded that sincere devotion can be received in many forms.
