He taught cleanliness, compassion, and practical help for the poor.<\/p>\n<p>After Sai Baba\u2019s Mahanirvana, the family supported Gadge Maharaj with cloth, and the household shared simple meals with him. He also encouraged Jyotindra to purchase a bungalow that became the family home.<\/p>\n<p>On a pilgrimage to Pandharpur, Jyotindra accompanied Gadge Maharaj and witnessed his service to pilgrims and villagers.
