The chapter
A woman with mental illness faced a difficult childbirth. Baba’s blessing was remembered as the delivery passed safely and a baby boy was born without trouble.
Venkat Rao received Baba’s picture and Udi while his son-in-law was missing. When he performed arti and applied Udi in Bombay, his daughter at Mulki had a vision at the same time and later wrote asking about the exact event.
Venkat Rao continued to trust Baba and experienced relief from illness through Udi. During a later crisis he saw Baba and two attendants in a vision; when he visited Shirdi, he recognized the same attendants near Baba.
Govindrao Gaddhe once vowed to visit Shirdi if his nephew recovered. The boy improved, but the vow was forgotten. When Govindrao later remembered it during bhajans and prayed again, he recovered from his own illness and fulfilled the vow by going to Shirdi.
