The chapter
S.B. Nachne was attacked by a disturbed employee while praying before Baba’s shrine. He survived after his mother and brother arrived in time. At Shirdi, Baba later explained that He had intervened at the critical moment, saying that if He did not save His children, who else would.
A learned woman intended to offer eight annas as dakshina but initially gave only one four-anna coin. Baba called her back and named the amount she had withheld, leading her to complete her offering.
A pilgrim who considered Shirdi her Pandharpur received Udi from Baba. At home, the packet contained Bukka, the fragrant powder associated with Pandharpur, as if Baba had answered the meaning of her devotion.
When Dixit accepted money and offerings from another devotee for Baba, he forgot to deliver them. Baba asked for exactly the same amount and articles, teaching him to carry out an accepted responsibility with care.
