Chapter 4 · Kaka Saheb Dixit’s Diary

Baba’s Watchful Grace: Lessons, Healing, and Harmony

Accounts of correction, healing, Udi, and the restoration of harmony through Baba’s watchful grace.

The chapter

Madhur Das once spent time with Sagun Meru Naik discussing the faults and affairs of others. When he sat near Baba, Baba immediately asked what Sagun had been saying. The reminder taught Madhur not to indulge in unnecessary talk about other people.

Shantabai’s painful hand was healed after Baba appeared in her dream and advised her to apply Dikamali. Narayan Gopinath Dige likewise recovered from severe intestinal pain after faithfully applying Udi and then went to Shirdi for darshan.

A young girl who had been ill for years was carried to Dwarkamai. Baba applied Udi to her face, and within three days she was able to walk without support.

The chapter closes with Atmaram and his wife, whose long separation ended unexpectedly while Atmaram was in Shirdi. Their later family life was remembered as another blessing of Baba’s grace.
