The chapter
During the monsoon, Jyotindra went to the bank of the rivulet near Shirdi before the Kakad Aarati. A distant cloudburst sent a sudden wall of floodwater toward him.
He cried out to Baba and stood chanting His name. The narrative records that the torrent divided and passed around him, leaving him alive while branches and animals were swept through the flood.
When he reached Dwarkamai, Baba already knew what had happened and assured him that he had constructive work still to do.
